Preactor Collects Hat Trick of Industry Commendations

Preactor International, the world’s leading specialist planning and scheduling Software Company, has announced a number of new contract wins for the first quarter of 2008, that covers almost every sector of manufacturing and across 20 countries around the world.

From the aerospace sector companies such as Messier Services Americas SA, located in Mexico which specializes in aircraft landing gear, ACTS in Canada that provide aircraft maintenance, and Contour Seating, which manufactures premier aircraft seating in the UK for airlines such as Air France and Emirates Airlines, have started Preactor projects.

In food processing companies are continuing to expand their use of Preactor. For example, Bakkavor has further extended its use of Preactor in pre-prepared salads in its UK plants. Oberto Sausage of the USA has increased its use of Preactor for the production of it's range of meat based snacks, and Branston has installed Preactor for the scheduling of packaged vegetables. Among the wide range of metal processing and distribution companies committed to Preactor there is Corus Distribution and Building Systems, which has purchased several Preactor licenses to be installed across multiple sites for its cladding, decking and composite metal panels business, Russel Metals, a metal processing and distribution company headquartered in Canada, and Coleus Packaging in South Africa which make bottle crowns.

Automotive is also well represented with Scooter India, manufacturers of auto-rickshaws, Masiero Antonio, located in Italy which makes parts for transmissions, and Gwent cable, a Welsh company making cable assemblies, looms and wiring harnesses. Mike Novels, CEO of Preactor International commented on the Q1 activity. “Companies are as busy as ever in improving the control of their production resources and making themselves more agile in the face of ever increasing global competition. 2008 has started very well for us and we expect further expansion for the remainder of the year despite fears of a slowdown in some parts of the world.”
